All Good Fruit Takes Time To Grow.

As I sit here on a beautiful Thursday, I can't help but reflect on two things:

a) how 2024 will be over before we know it...and b) how beautifully peaceful my surroundings are right now.

Cars passing by, a few birds chirping—I'm thankful to be here.

I took the leap into "entrepreneur land" in May of 2023. Let me tell you, it was not easy. Beautiful, transformative, challenging, and uncertain, this time has been one of immense reflection. I can't help but look back at the seeds I planted at the beginning of that journey, now beginning to come to fruition.

More so, the seeds I planted nearly TWO years ago, when I took that bold leap.

I remember making a YouTube video in September of 2022 and thinking:"I feel like I'll still be teaching in a sense—perhaps in the personal development sector. Working with folks 1:1, speaking to crowds- hm."

As I ready myself for something very exciting next week, I sit here and reflect on how the past two years have flown by, but my goodness, they have been transformative.

While it may FEEL like they've flown by, it's also been 730 days,

17,520 hours,

1,051,200 minutes.

I remember being in sixth grade (I'm old now), sitting with my team in our science classroom. Our teachers had gathered our team together to discuss our chronic tardiness to class. We all sat there quietly as they said:

"You do realize you have a full two minutes to get between classes, right?"

Fifty 12-year-olds then said:

"That's like NO TIME!"

The two teachers smiled."Alright then. Let's sit here in silence for two minutes. No talking."

...Well those were the longest two minutes of my life.

We often don't take time to reflect back and not only appreciate the story of how we've arrived but also the necessary order of operations that had to occur to get us here.

In the same way you wouldn't give The Odyssey to a kindergartner, you can't be thrown farther than you can handle.

But...

Your needs will be met every step of the way.

Every grade, every moment, failure, and darkened step on this path will be used for a purpose. Don't get too caught up in YOUR "end goal" that you forget you're always in the eternal achievement of some level of your journey.

It's a gift.

Now, in looking back at that track record, we can put ourselves at ease knowing...

You're never stuck. Look around and seize the current opportunities, and be thankful that you aren't at the "finish line" yet—that would be a lot to handle at this level!

All is well.
